Duties Explanation

To advise the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission on matters relating to Housing Elements of the General Plan, and the Inclusionary Housing Ordinance. The Committee may conduct public hearings on housing problems and potential solutions; study, review and make recommendations on private housing programs; make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.

Qualifications Explanation

Appointees shall reside in the district from which they are appointed.

Term Rules Explanation

Membership terms are for 2 years from date of appointment and shall continue to serve thereafter until a successor is appointed.

Meeting Day and Time Explanation

Six times a year on the 2nd Tuesday of the even months, time and place to be determined by the committee.
